4TH SEM : WEEK 02
DAY 06
25/11/2024, MONDAY
Monday's Teaching Triumphs
I started the week on a high note, with a successful second-hour class with 8th standard students. My lesson plan on "binomial nomenclature"was well-executed, and I was thrilled to see the students grasp the concept with ease.
I had also planned an engaging lesson on "diseases of bones and muscles" for the 9th standard students, incorporating ICT tools to make the learning experience more interactive. Fortunately, I got to teach both classes as planned, and the lessons went smoothly. We distributed lunch at noon. After a fulfilling day, I left school at 3:30 PM, feeling satisfied.
DAY 07
27/11/2024, TUESDAY
Tuesday's Teaching Highlights
I reached the school at 9:15 AM and signed the register, ready to tackle the day's lessons. As planned, I had a fourth-hour class on 9 D where I took the lesson on disc prolapse, a condition affecting the vertebral column. The class went smoothly, and the students showed keen interest in understanding this important topic.
In addition to my scheduled class, I received a substitution period for 8B, where I taught a lesson on 5 kingdom classification. I had prepared this lesson in advance, and it was great to see the students engage with the material. As usual, we distributed lunch during the noon break, and after a productive day, we left the school at 3:30 PM.
DAY 08

A Rainy Day at School
Today was a rainy day, and I arrived at school at 9:00 AM. Despite not having any scheduled classes, I ended up teaching two substitution classes - 8B and 9D. I quickly adapted to the change and prepared lessons on modern trends in taxonomy for 8B and first aid measures for 9D. Both classes went smoothly, and students demonstrated a clear understanding of the concepts.
DAY 09

A Routine Day at School
Today was a typical day at school, with no major events or surprises. I arrived at school at 9:00 AM and started my day by signing the attendance register.
In the first period, I had to substitute for another teacher in 7B. I took attendance and organized some fun games to keep the students engaged. They were a lively bunch, and I enjoyed spending time with them.
My next task was to take a lesson on viruses for my 8th standard students. The lesson went smoothly, and I was happy to see my students engaging with the topic.
During the lunch break, we distributed lunch to the students. It's always a pleasure to see the smiles on their faces when they receive their meals.
The rest of the day passed without any major incidents. We wrapped up the school day with the national anthem at 3:30 PM.
It may have been a routine day, but it was still a fulfilling one. I'm grateful for the opportunity to teach and interact with my students every day.
DAY 10
29/11/2024, FRIDAY
Today was a fulfilling day at school, filled with engaging lessons and meaningful interactions with my students. I arrived at school at 9:11 AM, signed the register, and began preparing for my class.
My second period was with 8B, where I introduced a new chapter from our 3rd part basic science textbook, "Diversity for Sustenance." This comprehensive chapter covers essential topics such as biodiversity, ecosystem, biosphere, food chain, food web, and conservation centers.
I focused on the first lesson of the chapter, which delves into the biosphere and its components. We explored the fascinating relationship between biotic and abiotic factors, and how they interact to sustain life on our planet. My students were attentive and curious, asking thoughtful questions that sparked interesting discussions.
After a productive morning, I didn't have any regular periods for the rest of the day. Instead, I helped distribute lunch to the students.
As the day drew to a close, I packed up my belongings and left school at 4:00 PM, feeling satisfied with the day's accomplishments. It's days like these that remind me of the importance of teaching and learning, and the positive impact we can have on our students' lives.
