FIELD TRIP 19/10/2023

Yesterday we the first year students of Kaviyattu B Ed college went for a field trip.Out of 55 students in our class everyone participated in this trip.Four of our teachers
accompanied us.Our destination was "Mango Meadows" an agricultural theme park situated in Kadathuruthy, Kottayam.We started our journey at 6.30 am in the morning.On our way to kottayam  we had our breakfast from a nice restaurant named "Aaramam" in adoor,pathanamthitta.The food was very tasty we all enjoyed it .Then we continued our journey .The vibe inside me and all my friends reaches at the peak we danced according to the rythm of music.
By 11.30 we reached our destination.On reaching there,teachers went for taking entry pass,after that a guide approaches us and he introduces us to all the facilities and explained about the attractions of Mango Meadows.The park get it's name because the place has over 200 varieties of mango plants.Lots and lots of medicinal and herbal plants are protected there.A huge pond with variety of edible fishes such as Rohu,Cutla,Aavoli,etc was there.Other than this variety of dogs,hens,turkey,jini hen,doves,two big emu birds are there.Next there is a cattle farm with a vechoor cow,3 big jersey cow andone big ox.We experienced live coir making and pot making ,it was a very first sight for me and it's so interesting for us to see that .
By 12.30 guiding was over.Then it was our turn to explore all the activities there .Though it was the lunch time we all went to eat lunch.Biriyani was of averag taste. After having lunch we went for pedal boating it was such a nice experience.Then me and my friend saran went for archery,it was so funny.Then we go for a cycle ride .Then we went to the swimming pool.By 3.30 we went for tea with banana fritters .By 4.30 we left Mango Meadows after taking a group photo.There is no traffic block on our way back to collage .We dropped our friend shan at kottayam, because he was going to his home as the coming days was Pooja holidays.By  9.30 everyone reached their home.Overall it was a wonderful experience for all us ,we enjoyed the maximum we can.As student teachers this  educational field trip, makes us understood and helped us to know about many new things.Overall it was a great journey.

DAY 01 01/08/2024 Thursday   Today was the first day of my teaching practice.We 9 students from Kaviyatt ollege of Education are alloted to Government Vocational Higher Secondary School Pirappancode for our teaching practice.  By 9.15 in the morning 8 of us reached the school,Shan Mohammed(one among us of physical science option) was unable to attend that day due to an emergency.By 9.15 am we met the Head Master and signed the register. We were alloted a classroom .Dl Ed trainees were also there in that classroom.By 9.30 am assembly begins the assembly was conducted in hindi as yesterday (July 31)was Munshi Pemchands  birthday, who was a famous writer of modern urdu and hindi literature.As the upcoming day was sports day PT sir and HM assigned us the task of arranging medals. TEACHING PRACTICE: WEEK 02

DAY 01 05/08/2024 MONDAY Today was the third day of my teaching practice.I reached the school at 9.15 am,marked my attendance,and made some final preparations as I have to take class on 8B in the second period.  After the morning prayer, HM meet us and give some instructions regarding the completion of our portion as onam exams are approaching. After the the office staff came and assign us substitution classes. when the bell rang it's the second period and I went to 8B ,it was my first class and I introduced myself to them,as there was no time to waste I started my portion and the first topic that I should teach was the "DIVERSITY AMONG CELLS AND TISSUES" .I successfully completed the topic by giving activities and the students responded very well.In the class there was a special student so a teacher of special education also sits in my class to help that student in person.I also try my best to make him understand the topic. ENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBERATION

World Environmental Day is celebrated annually on June 5. We natural Science conducted the assembly and programs in the college. This day was celebrated from 1972 to create awareness about environmental issues and protection of our Nature. We conducted our assembly with the name 'Thalir' and based on 2024 environmental day theme. I anchored the assembly, Tahani delivered the prayer song, Amritha delivered the speech, Arya delivered thought of the day and Sasya presented Newspaper section. Ardra with the speech and bhagyshree with the moral story is also exiting.Akshay delivered special pledge on environmental day and a quiz section. We gifted seeds to the participants. The next session ,we selected our Nature friend and gifted plants ,it was really a thought provoking activity suggested by our teachers.
