WORLD'S AIDS DAY CELEBRATION

On December 1st as part of World Aids day, we the teacher trainess of Kaviyaatu College of Education also conducted programs. This day is to raise awareness against HIV  and show support for those who suffered from  HIV. In morning, We all wear red ribbon and flag off the red ballons as a part of Aids day.       All teachers and students were present in the front campus for this ceremony. Deepthi mam delivered us with the speech about the day and it's importance. Then in the afternoon session, we conducted a quote writing competition and show shortfilm, government advertisement and animation videos of contents related to HIV. It's a day to promote education, reduce stigma, and encourage testing and prevention efforts.

ASSEMBLY BY SOCIAL SCIENCE DEPARTMENT

As usual wednesdays starts with the morning assembly. Social Science department conducted today's assembly based on theme 'Indian Constitution ' with the name 'We the people of India'. Vijilasree anchored the whole assembly. The assembly started with the prayer by Haseena,Aswany and pledge by Alfiya.Then Aswin read the newspaper headlines and 10 facts about Indian Constitution. Haseena HR delivered the speech about Importance of Constitution and Haseena AH corrected a singing mistake in national anthem.       Then New word introduced by Shahana      followed by speeches of Nayana, Haseena, Alfiya and Aswany. They also delivered the words from premable of our Constitution and conducted a quiz section. Principal Deepthi mam gave prizes for winners in poster making competition conducted by Social Science department. Arun Sir delivered the feedback for the assembly. ASSEMBLY BY ENGLISH DEPARTMENT

The assembly commenced with a solemn prayer, setting a contemplative tone for the proceedings. Shilpa, with grace and poise, took on the role of anchor, guiding the audience through the diverse and impactful segments of the program. COMMERCE ASSEMBLY

November 15, 2023     Today 15 November was a sunny day and asusual we all punched our attendance and went to the hall for the Assembly conducted by the Commerce department. The Assembly started with a prayer song by Subhana and Reshma followed by pledge from Kavya, news by Subhana and speech by Reshma on demonitisation.  Then Sharafa delivered the thought of the day and Nandu introduced the newword'Reprimand' which means Admonish.           Nandhu anchored the assembly smoothly.  They also presented a Commerce magazine. Then Kavya and Sharafa conducted the quiz section, it is  interesting aswellas informative.  The assembly ended with the National anthem.

KALOLSAVAM DUTY

Kalolsavam Duty November 08, 2023     As a part of Kaniyapuram sub-district Kalolsavam 2023 (November 7-10 ), we a group of 20 students went on 2nd day of Kalolsavam as volunteers. The Kalolsavam was held in the Government HSS Kulathoor. We all reached the school at 9.00 am and reported to the Sir in charge. Sir gave us an idea about programs, procedures in registration and divided us to all stages as volunteers.        Me and anagha, from english department were assigned the charge in stage 7. Malayalam speech and malayalam recitation was the programmes scheduled on this stage.There we assisted the four teachers in-charge.We helped in putting number on board, registration process and stage arrangements.  Overall it was a good experience to interact with senior teachers and came to know more about the procedures of conducting each events.We enjoyed various programmes of the young talents. We left the School at on 5.00 pm.

KERALA PIRAVI CELEBERATION

1 November 2023, Nov 1,Kerala Piravi which holds the great importance in the history and culture of Kerala.Kerala often referred as 'Gods own country ' is a place where nature's beauty is interwinded with vibrant culture. Our College also conducted 'Keraleeyam 2023' as a part nov 1. Shaila baseer is the chief guest of our program who got "Karshaka Thilakam" award in 2015 for organic farming.Our respected principal Deepthi mam gave inaugration speech followed by speeches from abin and midhun. Naseer sir delivered a speech about history and importance of Kerala Piravi followed by cultural programs of students.   Brochure of our programme "KERALEEYAM 2023"      The whole students and teachers dressed in our cultural style which gives an elegant and traditional look.Our boys wear dhoti and shirt and girls wear saree.
